Dan Llywelyn Hall, originally from Cardiff, has won several awards as an artist. After moving to London to study at the University of Westminster, he won the Sunday Times / Singer Friedlander Young Artist of the Year award for his painting Ship Hotel and Splash. Following his growing interest in portraiture, he became the youngest artist to portray The Queen in 2013

Rob Minhinnick was described by the Sunday Times as ‘The leading Welsh poet of his generation’. He has received several awards for his work, including the ‘John Morgan’, two Arts Council of Wales literary prizes, and the ‘Forward Prize’ twice for individual poems.

Dan and Rob will discuss paintings and poetry on Friday November 26, focusing on the connection with Offa’s Dyke. This is in keeping with the fact that fifty years have passed since the completion of the Offa’s Dyke path.
