Cardiff Born Dan Llywelyn Hall is an award-winning artist. After moving to London to study at the University of Westminster, Dan won the Sunday Times/Singer Friedlander Young Artist of the Year for his painting Ship Hotel and Splash. Following an increasing interest in portraiture, Dan became the youngest artist to portray Her Majesty the Queen in 2013.

Rob Minhinnick was described by the Sunday Times as ‘The leading Welsh poet of his generation’. He has received multiple awards for his work, including a John Morgan award, two Arts Council of Wales Literature prizes and has won the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem twice.

Dan Llywelyn Hall and Rob Minhinnick will be talking paintings and poetry on Friday 26th November, with a particular focus on Offa’s Dyke, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Offa’s Dyke Path.
