The Exchange

Every art collection seems to have its legends.

One of our legends is Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, translated from its 14th century original by Simon Armitage and illustrated by Clive Hicks-Jenkins. This winning collaboration was celebrated with an exhibition of Clive’s screen prints at MOMA Machynlleth in 2017 with the added privilege of hearing the future Poet Laureate read his poem from the Stage of the Auditorium. Clive generously gave ‘The Exchange’ to the Collection.
