MOMA Machynlleth are excited to announce the open call for 2026’s Young Welsh Artists Exhibition. This annual exhibition aims to showcase and support early-career artists from across Wales to exhibit new work in a professional gallery setting. We accept submissions from Welsh and Wales-based visual artists aged 30 or below. This year’s exhibition will take place in the Owen Owen and Bridge Galleries between 21st November 2026 and 30th January 2027.

Our Young Curators are excited to see your submissions and encourage artists of all backgrounds and abilities to apply. They are looking for bold and engaging work that tells stories of Welsh heritage, identity, place, and the artist’s individual relationship with Wales.

We welcome a variety of artworks that showcase the breadth of your creative practice. Please ensure that all submitted pieces are completed works.
