This talk gives the background to the selection of the exhibition at MOMA Machynlleth. The show includes work by 27 artists that Jill has known and exhibited over many years. The works are wide ranging and feature ceramics, stitched work and sculpture as well as figurative and abstract painting.

Jill Piercy is a curator and writer specialising in contemporary visual art in Wales. She has curated exhibitions for galleries in Wales and Europe and for six years was Arts and Crafts Officer at the National Eisteddfod of Wales.  Her publications include the biography Brenda Chamberlain -Artist and Writer and  many catalogue essays and articles for magazines.
