Simon Jenkins is an award-winning journalist and was knighted for services to journalism in 2004. Previously an editor of the Evening Standard and The Times, Simon Jenkins currently writes a column for the Guardian.

Jenkins has written many books on history, politics and architecture, including international bestsellers England’s Thousand Best Churches and England’s Thousand Best Houses. His latest release is Europe’s 100 Best Cathedrals, the ultimate bucket list of the cathedrals everyone should see before they die.

Simon Jenkins will be speaking at The Tabernacle on Friday 26th November on the topic of the neglected architectural masterpieces of Wales, a subject close to Jan Morris’ heart.

In line with Government guidelines, as of 15th November 2021 you will need to use the NHS COVID pass show full vaccination status or a negative Lateral Flow Test to attend any events at the Tabernacle.
