Legends

Of the over 400 works in the Tabernacle Collection many have a legend attached to them, such as Robert Macdonald’s Llyn-y-Fan Fach, Dorie Schrecker’s The Legend of Saint Melangell, and Gill Watkiss’ The Towednack Cuckoo.

Alongside the Collection works we will be showing Martin Weatherhead’s Peredur Tapestry, a 4-year project to hand-weave a tapestry inspired by the story of Peredur from the Mabinogi.
