MOMA Machynlleth are pleased to announce the curators for the 2025 Young Welsh Artists Exhibition.

Isaac Peat (he/him) is a curator, artist, filmmaker and photographer, based in Aberystwyth, his focus has been about bringing art into the public view – at the heart of the community. Isaac’s can do attitude led to him setting up art exhibitions in unusual spaces rather than established venues, his early work in curation were founding the SoA Bank Vault Exhibition, Bank Vault (2022/23) and running the Artist of the Month, Gwesty Cymru (2022/23). As part of the Gŵyl Cariad Festival (2025), Isaac curated a town wide exhibition that broke down barriers to accessing art, installing artwork into local venues that looked to bring art to the centre of the town. Isaac’s experience extends to his time working in Aberystwyth Art Centre’s Gallery and where he currently works at the School of Art, Aberystwyth University. Isaac is currently co-ordinating and producing Gŵyl Cariad Aber 2026 where he will be curating his second town-wide exhibition.
