Schubert Fantasy in C major D 760 ‘The Wanderer’

Machynlleth Festival prides itself on presenting outstanding young talent and this year the prodigious 20 year old Dutch pianist Nikola Meeuwsen, takes up the banner. Winner of the 2019 Concertgebouw Young Talent Award, the NRC Handelsblad has hailed him as ‘a talent to keep an eye on’. He joins us to give a rich recital of Schubert and Liszt that includes Schubert’s great Wanderer Fantasy.
