The exhibition ‘Nôl a ‘Mlaen – What a Relief” charts Ruth’s full career as a printmaker—from her college days during the 1980s through to present day— the exhibition will include Lino cuts, woodcuts, monoprints silkscreen and her recent interest in combining relief blocks and ceramics. It promises to be an entertaining glimpse into the world of Ruth Jên ,and showing the varied work produced over the last 40 years.

Ruth Jên Evans is a full-time artist based in Ceredigion, Mid-Wales. She has an unquenchable enthusiasm for all forms of printmaking and mark making and has been an active member of the Aberystwyth Printmakers since it was established in 2004. Her work has been exhibited widely, both in the UK and abroad and is represented in several international collections.
