Prior to the concert, Amer-Imeri will teach a workshop of Georgian songs in three part harmony.

The workshop is open to all. Songs will be taught by ear, and there is no need to read music or know the Georgian language. As well as teaching the songs, they will support us in learning to sing in an authentically Georgian way, and will demonstrate some simple dance movements and rituals to accompany the songs.

The centrepiece of the tour will be a residential weekend event, at which singers from across the UK will gather to learn and sing together, and to share a supra, or Georgian feast. Further information and tickets: here
